So, I went to Australia in December, as many of you know who tried to contact me during that time. Clearly I am quite behind publishing the post, but here it is! Better late than never!!

This is my mama boarding the plane from Sydney to Canberra. Without her I would not be possible.

My first kangaroo sighting!

I saw a real kangaroo on the first day. I was so excited looking for one that I almost gave myself an anxiety attack. Aren't they cute!!

Not having been to Australia before, this is the landscape that I was expecting to see. A la Ayers Rock, Crocodile Dundee, etc.

This was the dominant landscape. Not at all the Australia I expected! The Southern part of the continent is really green.

We traveled down the coastline.

My mama looking serene and gorgeous on the beach.

But WATCH OUT for these guys!

This is my mom's hubby and I looking HOT on a rock. Photo by Mama.

An Aussie burger. Complete with beet, egg and pineapple. They come this way. Surprisingly delicious. Salivating now.

We saw penguins at Montague island. It was really dark but you can see em. They were amazing.

Me impersonating a penguin. Photo by Mama.

Field 'o Roos! By this time I was a much more composed kangaroo stalker. Less squealing.

Here are some wallabies that I spent the morning with.

My first view of Sydney. Soaking wet!

Sydney Opera House.

Despite the downpour we went to Luna Park. I loved the reflections and colors made possible by the rain.

My mama and her hubby.

It was a great trip. I am so grateful for the opportunity. I can't wait to see where I will go next. Special thanks to mama and her hubby for letting me tag along and feeding me.
